I'm Heartbroken

Healing doesn’t ask you to forget. It gently teaches you how to breathe again.

Welcome

If your heart feels heavy today, you’re in the right place. Whether you’re grieving the loss of someone you love, navigating divorce or separation, carrying the weight of disappointment, or simply trying to understand why life hurts right now, know this:

You are not alone.

Heartbreak changes us—but it does not have to define us. Even in seasons of sorrow, God is still near, still faithful, and still gently growing something beautiful within us. Take your time here. There is no rush to heal.

Today’s Scripture

The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.”

— Psalm 34:18 (NIV)

When everything feels shattered, God’s presence doesn’t disappear. Often, it draws even closer.

A Gentle Reflection

Your heart may be hurting, but it is not beyond God’s care.

Healing doesn’t happen all at once, and that’s okay.

Give yourself permission to grieve, to rest, and to take one small step at a time. God’s presence is often felt most deeply in the places where our hearts have been broken.

A Prayer

Heavenly Father,

You know every hurt I carry, every tear I’ve cried, and every piece of my heart that feels broken. Draw near to me and remind me that I am never alone. Heal what I cannot heal on my own, replace my fear with Your peace, and restore my hope one day at a time. Help me trust that even in my pain, You are working for my good.

Amen.

Amen.

🌼 Encouragement from Thea

If your heart is hurting today, I want you to know you don’t have to pretend you’re okay. Healing is rarely quick, and it certainly isn’t linear. I’ve learned that God often meets us in the middle of our deepest pain, gently carrying us until we’re strong enough to take the next step. Be patient with yourself. The same God who is holding your heart today will also restore your hope tomorrow.

With love,

— Thea Russell
